This was a new color scheme I have never been asked to do before! Hot pink, red and Carolina blue, the birthday girl's favorite colors. The cake is vanilla buttermilk, filled with a homemade strawberry jam filling, iced in vanilla butter cream and covered in fondant

Go Diego Go first birthday cake
Fun first birthday theme! I got to make a variety of treats for this party: Cake, smash cake and cupcakes.
The tiered cake was marble cake with vanilla butter cream, the cupcakes and smash cake were vanilla/vanilla.
Woods themed cake
This has been such a fun week! I got to make cakes for 4 different events! As well as cupcakes for a party and give away :) This cake was for a rehearsal dinner. The sister of the groom was the one to choose the design and order the cake. I LOVE how it turned out, I especially love the flowers! The top tier was vanilla buttermilk with vanilla/almond butter cream, and the bottom two layers were filled with chocolate and iced in vanilla butter cream.

Pink and purple ombre ruffle princess cake
This is by far the girliest cake I have ever done!! Bottom tier was chocolate, top vanilla buttermilk. All covered in fondant then fondant ruffles. There was also a dozen chocolate and a dozen vanilla cupcakes with purple and pink fondant toppers. I am pretty sure the birthday girl loved it :)

Orange ruffle flower cake
I have really been enjoying playing around with gum paste flowers. I made this one for a friend's birthday. It's chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream, her favorite combination. She does a lot of paintings in yellow, orange and green so that's why I picked this color combination.
