I had a couple hours to spare before the family cookout this afternoon so I decided to make some cupcakes. They are chocolate cupcakes filled with dolce de leite (kind of a homemade caramel), then covered with vanilla icing, homemade marshmallow stars and red, white, and blue sprinkles.
